Magnetic separation

The largest application area for magnetic particles (especially magnetic multi-core particles) is in the field of magnetic separation techniques or as a part of a separation stage in different immunoassay systems. Parameters such as separation time and absorption specificity are important in these applications. Earlier we have developed a technique based on light absorbance measurements of magnetic multi-core ensemble subjected to a field and field gradient. We will further develop this analysis technique in the analysis in the NanoMag project.
